Payment

No, we do not charge any extra fees. The listed price is the final price you pay. Including taxes and service charge.

We understand that you may not have a printer handy when you’re traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you show ID matching your reservation and also the Itinerary Confirmation that is immediately emailed to you after you make your reservation.

Preparation

Wear whatever is comfortable. It is recommended to have a sturdy pair of broken-in trail shoes, boots, or sneakers. It is preferable to dress in layers and wear clothing that will wick away perspiration and keep you dry and comfortable. Not much, remember our trips are all inclusive. We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season and a day pack to carry extra snacks and water. Yes, we do have fixed departure dates. Please visit our Fixed Departures page for more information. However, we mainly operate all our tour and trekking packages as per our clients’ time and dates. Pick any day and we start our journey from that day. We are flexible to change dates in case clients change their minds.

Yes, besides our full packages, we also customize all our trekking itineraries as per our clients’ budget, schedule and preferences. Your budget, your schedule, your preferences. Sisne Rover provides sleeping bags and trekking poles to clients with Premium packages only. Clients with Economy and Standard packages must bring their own items as necessary.

Reservation

Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.

If client cancels the trip

  • You can cancel up to 48 hours in advance of the trip for free.
  • In an event of cancellation, we will hold 25% of the total cost of the trip as Lifetime Deposit. Lifetime Deposits are non-refundable in cash but can be used while booking a new tour. Rest of the amount is refunded.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 48 hours before the trip’s start time will not be accepted.
  • No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. 
  • No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized. Please note that these conditions are subject to change.
  • We strongly advise you to purchase trip insurance soon after registering for a trip. In the event that you must cancel your trip due to illness, family crisis or other emergency, this insurance reimburses you for nonrefundable trip costs.

If cancellation made by the company

  • Your trip won’t be cancelled by us for any reason (beyond weather and natural disaster or other similarly disruptive event that is beyond our control, obviously). Therefore, Sisne Rover reserves the right to cancel any trip even the guaranteed trip due to reasons beyond its control i.e. due to natural disasters, flight cancellation, and consequences of strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences. During this we will refund the trip price.
  • Please note that we are not responsible if you change in the airline carrier, flight time tables, trouble due to the booking of visas, non-refundable flights, or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
  • For Fixed Departures, the trip requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/trip or a full refund.

We understand that travel plan changes and sometimes need to be delayed. Our Lifetime Deposit Policy is designed to protect you from uncertain events that may cause your trip to be cancelled or delayed. If you need to cancel the trip for any reason, your initial deposit will remain securely on our record until you are ready to use it again or pass it on to a friend.

  • The Lifetime Deposit is limited to the value of the original deposit. If the deposit requirement for your new tour being booked is higher than your lifetime deposit, then the difference has to be paid to confirm the booking.
  • Lifetime deposits are non refundable in cash but can be used for your next tour with us.
  • Lifetime Deposits are transferrable to your friends/family.
  • The cost of air tickets will not be included in lifetime deposit.

Since this is an adventure tour, it requires some flexibility. The day to day itinerary is taken only as a guideline. We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by International or domestic flights, strikes, Government regulations, weather or natural casualties etc. In such cases, Sisne Rover shall provide suitable alternatives which could be decided upon mutual agreement. If an agreement cannot be made, Sisne Rover shall only be responsible for refunds after deducting the expenses already incurred.

Your booking will be confirmed by email once we receive your payment. If you book online via our website, you have to pay the full amount. If you book via email, your booking will be confirmed once we receive your non-refundable deposit of 25% of total cost of the trip within 7 days of confirmation. The balance is due after arriving in Nepal. If there is a domestic air ticket in your itinerary, it has to be paid during deposit. If you like, you can also pay the full amount on a single transaction at the time of deposit.

Weather

We do hike in the rain, snow, wind and any other weather conditions that nature decides to throw at us. After all, we’re going on adventures! If the weather is unsafe for any reason, the trip will be changed or postponed. You will be notified the week of your trip if there are changes due to weather.
