Trek itinerary
Day 01. Drive an hour from Kathmandu (1,350 m) to Sundarijal (1,350 m) & Trek to Chisapani (2,300 m): (4-5 Hrs.)
Drive less than an hour to Sundarijal (15 km) from Kathmandu. Sundarijal is a small settlement where there is a water source for Kathmandu. Now we begin our trek through the vertical stairs and small settlements before we enter into the Shivapuri National Parks. The forest is very thick and dense with full of oak, juniper and some other spices of the plants. After having lunch at Mulkharka, continue climbing bit more before reaching Burlung Bhanjyang (2,438 m). Burlung Bhanjyang is the highest place from where we can witness the beautiful mountain views in sunny weather. Then walk down to Chisapani. During our trek, we will get a strong insight into the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of local people. Overnight at lodge in Chisapani.

Day 02. Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (2,195 m): (5-6 Hrs.)
As compared yesterday, the hiking is easier with less climbing but we have to walk a bit longer today. The trails now again enter into the forest and sometimes have to walk through the ride of the hills. Crossing the Chauki Bhyanjyang, the trails now go with the frequently ups and down through the dense forest until Nagarkot. Enjoy the sunset with the mesmerizing views of beautiful mountains, green hills and the valley from your hotel roof top. Overnight at a lodge in Nagarkot.

Day 03. Trek from Nagarkot to Changunaryan (1,600 m): (3-4 Hrs.) & Drive to Kathmandu (1,350 m): (1 Hr.)
Early in the morning, we will visit Nagarkot view tower which is located at the very top of the Nagarkot. The sunrise from here is absolutely magnificent with the long Himalayan ranges. Hike down after the breakfast about 3 to 4 hours to Chagunarayan through small settlements and the forest. Changunarayan is a pagoda-style Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu in his incarnation as Narayan. It is one of the oldest temples in Nepal originally built in the early 4th century during the Licchavi dynasty and it was rebuilt around 17th century after the temple was destroyed by a fire. After visiting temple and its premises, we drive back to Kathmandu.

To celebrate the successful completion of our journey, we will have farewell dinner and share the experiences about our trek.
