This tour comprises with three major touristic destination of Nepal – Pokhara, Lumbini and Chitwan, which offers you an amazing sightseeing and wildlife expedition. On this tour you will gain an insight into the rich culture and traditions of Nepal. The trip begins with a sightseeing tour to the most remarkable places in Pokhara and Lumbini.

Pokhara- the city of paradise, one of the most famous tourist destinations in Nepal gives you one of the most delightful travel experiences. Pokhara is also famous for adventure sports like – rafting, paragliding, ultra-light flight, zip line, bungee jump, cannoning etc.

After Pokhara, the tour proceeds to Lumbini – the birth place of Lord Buddha and then to Chitwan. Chitwan is known for its rare bird and animal species, wildlife and lush vegetation. The major Activities in Jungle include elephant safari, cannoning, Jeep safari and a walk in the wilderness accompanied by a trained guide.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Pokhara.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will be greeted by a representative from Sine Rover Trekking who will drop us off at our hotel. After checking in, we take a rest. We may also stroll in the streets of lakeside, a tourist hub in Pokhara for some souvenir shopping. For dinner, you will be served excellent authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the Nepalese food culture.

Day 02: Pokhara sightseeing.

In our sightseeing tour in Pokhara, we will visit the famous Bindhyabasini Temple- a white dome structure dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, David’s fall- a fascinating waterfall, Seti gorge- a deep canal, and Peace stupa. We also visit the famous international Mountain Museum (IMM that records, documents and chronicles the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world and the Himalayas followed by the sunrise tour to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is the best place for the sunrise and mountain views in sunny weather. Pokhara offers the best for adventure sports like – paragliding, Ultra-light flights, Zip Line, Bungee Jump, cannoning and boating on Few Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Lumbini (150 m.) 169km, 5-6 hrs.

We will have short view of Barahi Temple- a pagoda styled temple dedicated to goddess Barahi, and boating on Few lake- the biggest lake in Pokhara. After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini – the birth place of Lord Buddha via Tansen .Tansen is among a few towns outside the capital which bears a rich legacy the traditional art and architecture located at an elevation of 1310 meters. Tansen is famous for various kinds of handicrafts, textile and organic coffee. Lumbini is 85 KM away from Tansen and takes about 2- 3 hours maximum. Overnight in Lumbini.

Day 04: Lumbini to Chitwan (190 – 415m.) 134km, 4-5 hours.

In the morning, we will have a visit to the Lumbini Area including the Maya Devi temple and other various monasteries. Then we drive to Chitwan- a city located at the foot of the Churia range and famous for housing Chitwan National Park (CNP), the first national park in Nepal, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival in Chitwan we will be welcome by refreshment drinks and go for a jungle/nature walks. During nature walks we enjoy the company of a wide variety of flora and fauna and spend some time bird watching. In the evening, there will be a presentation on the wide range of flora and fauna of CNP. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 05: Safari in Chitwan National Park.

Early in the morning, we will be mounted on elephant backs for a jungle safari through dense grasslands to witness wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, we visit the elephant stables and even enjoy bathing the elephants.

During the afternoon we can either drive through the jungles by Jeep or followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. During the safari, we go deep into the jungle and spot deer, the endangered one-horn rhinoceros, along with other wild animals. If lucky, we may even spot the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. While canoeing, we may get a close look at the Gharial and Mugger Crocodiles along with fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds. Or, we may even go for birding or nature walk and come closer to a variety of wild flora and fauna found in the park. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 06: Drive from Chitwan to Pokhara (127km), 4-5 hours.

Early in the morning, we engage ourselves in birding as Chitwan National Park is also home to a large variety of resident and migratory birds.We then have breakfast and drive towards Pokhara. Our journey will be on the Terai plains while in and near Chitwan and gradually move to a more winding road as we come closer to Pokhara. Along the way,we can enjoy the beautiful hilly terrains and small houses. To celebrate the successful completion of our journey, we will have a farewell dinner in the evening.

Best Time to Travel

Autumn (Sept. to Dec.) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for this trip when the weather is clear and pleasant. For anyone willing to withstand a bit of cold and avoid the crowd then the trip can also be arranged during winters (late Dec to Feb.)
